...CHANCE OF SNOW SATURDAY MORNING THEN BRIEF WEEKEND WARMUP...

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH MIDDLE TENNESSEE ON SATURDAY.
MOISTURE COMBINING WITH THE ALREADY COLD TEMPERATURES AHEAD OF THE
FRONT WILL PROVIDE A CHANCE OF SNOW FOR AREAS MAINLY EAST OF THE
I-24 CORRIDOR. RIGHT NOW IT APPEARS THAT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS COULD
TOTAL RIGHT AROUND AN INCH FOR AREAS IN PICKETT, FENTRESS, AND
CUMBERLAND COUNTIES. FOR OTHER COUNTIES EAST OF I-24 SNOWFALL
COULD RANGE FROM A TRACE TO 1 INCH...WITH COUNTIES CLOSEST TO THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU AND ALONG THE HIGHLAND RIM SEEING THE HIGHER
TOTALS. WESTERLY WINDS GUSTING TO 25 MPH AT TIMES WILL ALSO
ACCOMPANY THE FRONT ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO
DECREASE SATURDAY EVENING.

CONDITIONS REMAIN CALM THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT AND TEMPERATURES
CLIMB INTO THE 50S ON SUNDAY. THE WARMER TEMPERATURES WILL BE
SHORT-LIVED AS HIGH TEMPERATURES ON MONDAY DIVE BACK DOWN TO THE
FREEZING MARK AFTER THE PASSAGE OF ANOTHER COLD FRONT AND SNOW
CHANCE EARLY MONDAY MORNING. SINGLE DIGIT LOWS WILL BE COMMON
MONDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHTS WITH WIND CHILLS BELOW ZERO THROUGHOUT
THE CWA.

CONTINUE TO TAKE PROPER PRECAUTIONS TO STAY WARM. LIMIT YOUR
EXPOSURE TO THE COLD TEMPERATURES, PROTECT PLUMBING FROM FREEZING,
AND ENSURE THAT PETS HAVE ADEQUATE INDOOR SHELTER AND ACCESS TO
WATER.
