THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

THURSDAY...A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS TENNESSEE BRINGING A
CHANCE FOR LIGHT SNOW. AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF I-40 MAY SEE SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS ANYWHERE FROM A DUSTING UP TO A HALF INCH...WHILE
THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU COULD SEE AROUND 1 INCH OF SNOW.

THURSDAY...IN ADDITION TO LIGHT SNOW...NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO
25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED BEHIND THE FRONT FROM
THURSDAY AFTERNOON INTO THURSDAY EVENING.

SUNDAY...A VERY STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS MIDDLE
TENNESSEE ON SUNDAY. RAIN DEVELOPING AHEAD OF THE FRONT WILL
LIKELY CHANGE TO SNOW LATE SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. ALTHOUGH
STILL UNCERTAIN...LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF A FEW INCHES APPEAR
POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF THE MID STATE.

BEHIND THE FRONT...VERY COLD AIR WILL SPREAD ACROSS MIDDLE
TENNESSEE FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY. LOW TEMPERATURES IN THE SINGLE
DIGITS WITH HIGHS ONLY IN THE TEENS AND 20S APPEAR POSSIBLE...WITH
WIND CHILLS FALLING WELL BELOW ZERO.

SPOTTERS AND LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS ARE ENCOURAGED
TO REPORT ANY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
