.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FOR ALL OF MIDDLE
TENNESSEE ON THURSDAY.

STRONG SOUTH WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH BRIEF GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH
ARE EXPECTED ON THURSDAY AHEAD OF A STRONG COLD FRONT THAT WILL
MOVE ACROSS THE REGION THURSDAY EVENING...AND A WIND ADVISORY WILL
LIKELY BE NECESSARY.

THE STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE RAPIDLY ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE
THURSDAY EVENING...WITH A SQUALL LINE OF STRONG TO SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED ALONG THE FRONT. THE MAIN THREAT FROM THESE
STORMS WILL BE DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS...ALTHOUGH A FEW
TORNADOES WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE WITHIN THE SQUALL LINE. LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL IS ALSO POSSIBLE WHICH COULD CAUSE PONDING OF WATER
IN LOW LYING AREAS.

REPORTS FROM TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS MAY BE NEEDED THURSDAY
