  DUCK RIVER NEAR HURRICANE MILLS AFFECTING HUMPHREYS COUNTY

. THE DUCK RIVER NEAR HURRICANE MILLS IS EXPECTED TO PEAK THIS EVENING BELOW
ITS FLOOD STAGE THEN SLOWLY FALL OVER THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

  THE DUCK RIVER NEAR HURRICANE MILLS
* UNTIL WEDNESDAY EVENING.
* AT 12PM TUESDAY THE STAGE WAS 21.7 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 24.0 FEET.
* THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 23.0 FEET BY THIS EVENING.
* AT 22.0 FEET...PORTIONS OF TUMBLING CREEK ROAD EAST OF HIGHWAY 13 ARE FLOODED
  AND MAY BE IMPASSABLE.
* AT 20.0 FEET...PORTIONS OF TUMBLING CREEK ROAD EAST OF HIGHWAY 13 BEGIN TO
  FLOOD AND THERE IS SIGNIFICANT FLOODING OF AGRICULTURAL LAND ALONG THE RIVER
  FROM BUCKSNORT...TO TAYLORTOWN AND CEDAR GROVE.
* AT 16.0 FEET...FLOODING OF AGRICULTURAL LAND AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ALONG
  THE RIVER BEGIN TO FLOOD FROM BUCKSNORT...TO TAYLORTOWN AND CEDAR GROVE.
