* AT 227 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN
  EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THE STORM WAS 8 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ARDMORE...
  MOVING NORTH AT 20 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  ARDMORE AND ELKTON...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DOPPLER RADAR HAS INDICATED SOME WEAK ROTATION WITHIN THIS STORM.
