...FLOODING REMAINS A POSSIBILITY FOR ROUGHLY THE EASTERN THIRD OF
MIDDLE TENNESSEE TONIGHT AND SUNDAY...

.A STATIONARY SFC TROUGH CONTINUES TO RESIDE OVER EASTERN
PORTIONS OF TENNESSEE. MEANWHILE...UPPER LEVEL SUPPORT IS EXPECTED
OVERNIGHT AS A STRONG UPPER LEVEL LOW APPROACHES FROM THE WEST.
THIS WILL SET THE STAGE FOR INCREASED LOW LEVEL FORCING AND
AN INCREASE IN RAINFALL INTENSITY LEVELS ACROSS OUR EASTERN
ZONES...MAINLY TONIGHT AND INTO SUNDAY MORNING. THE PERSISTENT
RAINFALL ON TOP OF ALREADY SATURATED GROUNDS WILL SET THE STAGE
FOR POSSIBLE FLOODING TONIGHT AND INTO SUNDAY.

* THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING

* A STATIONARY SFC TROUGH CONTINUES TO RESIDE OVER EASTERN
  PORTIONS OF TENNESSEE. AS THIS TROUGH STRENGTHENS OVERNIGHT...
  RAINFALL...HEAVY AT TIMES WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE WATCH AREA.
  RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED WITH SOME
  LOCALIZED 4 INCH AMOUNTS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE FAR EASTERN AND
  SOUTHEASTERN PLATEAU COUNTIES.

* FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS AND FLOOD PRONE AREAS WILL BE
  POSSIBLE AS WELL AS AREAS NEAR CREEKS AND RIVERS AS RIVER
  LEVELS ARE IT AN ELEVATED STATE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON
CURRENT FORECASTS.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE
FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE
PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP.
