FLOODING RAINS THAT FELL ON THE 27TH AND 28TH BROUGHT THE RAINFALL
FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL TO 7.63 INCHES WHICH IS 3.63 INCHES ABOVE
NORMAL AND THE MOST RAIN TO FALL IN APRIL SINCE 8.41 INCHES FELL
IN APRIL 1984. A NEW CALENDAR DAY RAINFALL RECORD WAS SET ON APRIL
27TH...WHEN 3.30 INCHES FELL...BREAKING THE OLD RECORD OF 2.51
INCHES SET OVER A HUNDRED YEARS AGO IN 1912. THE WETTEST APRIL ON
RECORD WAS IN 1874 WHEN 11.84 INCHES FELL.

APRIL 2013 AVERAGED JUST ABOUT NORMAL IN TEMPERATURE WITH AN AVERAGE
MONTHLY TEMPERATURE OF 59.2 DEGREES WHICH IS 0.2 DEGREE ABOVE
NORMAL. THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE DURING THE MONTH WAS 88 DEGREES ON
THE 17TH AND THE COOLEST WAS 34 DEGREES ON THE 3RD.

NO CALENDAR DAY TEMPERATURE RECORDS WERE TIED OR BROKEN DURING THE
MONTH.
