...UPDATED NWS DAMAGE SURVEY INFORMATION FOR 01/30/13 TORNADOES...

EF-2 TORNADO CONFIRMED IN HICKMAN COUNTY AND EF-0 TORNADO CONFIRMED
IN DICKSON AND CHEATHAM COUNTY FROM STORMS EARLIER THIS MORNING.

START LOCATION:         WOLF CREEK RD. WEST OF THE COBLE COMMUNITY

END LOCATION:           BETWEEN BEAVERDAM ROAD AND HWY 50.

INITIAL DAMAGE CONSISTING OF SNAPPED TREES WAS EVIDENT ON WOLF CREEK ROAD
APPROXIMATELY 1 MILE WEST OF THE COBLE COMMUNITY IN NORTHWEST HICKMAN COUNTY.
DAMAGE BECAME MUCH MORE SIGNIFICANT IN THE COBLE COMMUNITY BEGINNING AT THE
INTERSECTION OF BRIAR POND RD AND HWY 438.  SEVERAL BRICK HOMES SUFFERED
CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE IN COBLE INCLUDING ONE WITH ALMOST TOTAL ROOF LOSS
AND THE COLLAPSE OF A WALL.  A MOBILE HOME WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED WITH
DEBRIS SCATTERED AND THE METAL FRAME WRAPPED PARTIALLY AROUND A TREE.  A
CINDER BLOCK GARAGE AND AT LEAST 3 BARNS WERE DEMOLISHED AND AN RV WAS
FLIPPED ON IT'S SIDE.  THE TORNADO WAS QUITE WIDE NEAR COBLE...AROUND 300
YARDS...AND HUNDREDS OF TREES WERE SNAPPED OR UPROOTED.  THERE WERE NO
INJURIES.

HUNDREDS OF TREES WERE UPROOTED AND SNAPPED AND SEVERAL HOMES SUFFERED
MINOR ROOF DAMAGE ALONG AN INTERMITTENT 6 MILE PATH.

TORNADOES INTO THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES.
