FROM A SHARP CNTRL CONUS TROUGH. 16/00Z REGIONAL RAOBS INDICATE THE
PRESENCE OF A SUBSTANTIAL WARM LAYER OF SUPER-FREEZING TEMPERATURES
ABOVE 900 MB...ATOP A COLD LAYER OF POST-FRONTAL AIR. SFC OBS TRENDS
