THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR LIGHT SNOW TONIGHT...MAINLY ACROSS THE FAR
NORTHERN COUNTIES OF MID TENNESSEE AND THE PLATEAU. ANY
ACCUMULATIONS TONIGHT WILL BE SMALL...BUT SOME SLICK SPOTS COULD
DEVELOP NEAR THE KENTUCKY BORDER AND ON THE PLATEAU LATE IN THE
NIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

SNOW IS EXPECTED FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING FOR MOST OF MID
TENNESSEE...AND THE SNOW MAY LAST THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON FOR
THE PLATEAU. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE MINOR DURING THE DAYTIME ON
FRIDAY WITH TEMPERATURES MOSTLY ABOVE FREEZING. ACCUMULATIONS WILL
BE MORE LIKELY FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY MORNING AS TEMPERATURES
FALL. ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM ONE HALF TO ONE INCH FOR MUCH
OF THE MID STATE. LOCATIONS NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40 AND ACROSS THE
HIGHLAND RIM COULD HAVE 1 TO 2 INCHES...AND HIGHER PARTS OF THE
NORTHERN PLATEAU...SUCH AS JAMESTOWN AND MONTEREY...COULD RECEIVE
UP TO 3 INCHES.

ROADWAYS MAY BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS DUE TO THE ACCUMULATING
SNOW.

SPOTTERS AND LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS ARE ENCOURAGED
TO REPORT ANY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
IN NASHVILLE.
