THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FOR WESTERN MIDDLE
TENNESSEE LATE SATURDAY INTO SATURDAY NIGHT. A POWERFUL STORM
SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION OVER THE WEEKEND BRINGING
UNUSUALLY WARM AND HUMID CONDITIONS FOR LATE DECEMBER WITH NEAR
RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURES. SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ON SATURDAY AND CONTINUE
INTO SATURDAY NIGHT ACROSS WESTERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...AND SOME MAY
BE STRONG TO SEVERE. ADDITIONAL STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL ALSO
BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE REST OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE SATURDAY NIGHT
INTO SUNDAY MORNING.

IN ADDITION TO THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE STORMS...HEAVY RAINFALL
AND LOCALIZED FLOODING WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE FROM SATURDAY INTO
SUNDAY. TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE
WITH THE HIGHEST TOTALS OVER NORTHWEST MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
