...NOVEMBER IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE WAS COLDER AND DRIER THAN NORMAL...

THE TEMPERATURE IN NASHVILLE FOR NOVEMBER 2013 AVERAGED 46.3 DEGREES
WHICH IS 3.5 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. NOVEMBER 2013 WAS THE 21ST COLDEST
ON RECORD AND THE COLDEST SINCE 1997.

THE AVERAGE HIGH WAS 57.6 DEGREES AND THE AVERAGE LOW WAS 34.9
DEGREES. THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE WAS 75 DEGREES ON THE 6TH AND THE
COLDEST 16 DEGREES ON THE 28TH. FOR THE FOURTH MONTH IN A ROW NO
TEMPERATURE RECORDS WERE SET OR TIED.

THE NASHVILLE AIRPORT MEASURED 2.53 INCHES OF RAIN FOR NOVEMBER
WHICH IS 1.78 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. THE GREATEST RAINFALL DURING A
24 HOUR PERIOD WAS 1.08 INCHES ON THE 17TH.

A TRACE OF SNOW FELL ON THE 12TH OF NOVEMBER WITH A HALF INCH ON
THE 25TH. THIS WAS THE FIRST NOVEMBER WITH MEASURABLE SNOW SINCE
NOVEMBER 1996 WHEN 1.3 INCHES WERE MEASURED.

THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRED ONLY ON ONE DAY DURING THE MONTH.

THE AVERAGE WIND SPEED DURING THE MONTH WAS 7.1 MILES AN HOUR. THE
FASTEST GUST WAS 33 MILES AN HOUR ON THE 12TH.

FOG OCCURRED ON 13 DAYS WITH NO DAYS OF DENSE FOG.

THREE TORNADOES TOUCHED DOWN IN TENNESSEE ON NOVEMBER 17TH...ALL OF
THEM IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...WITH NO FATALITIES. THIS WAS THE FIRST
NOVEMBER WITH TORNADOES IN TENNESSEE SINCE 2007.

THE TEMPERATURE IN CLARKSVILLE FOR NOVEMBER 2013 AVERAGED 44.6
DEGREES WHICH IS 3.8 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. THE AVERAGE HIGH WAS
56.0 DEGREES AND THE AVERAGE LOW WAS 33.3 DEGREES. THE WARMEST
TEMPERATURE DURING THE MONTH WAS 72 DEGREES ON THE 17TH AND
COLDEST WAS 14 DEGREES ON THE 28TH.

CLARKSVILLE'S OUTLAW FIELD MEASURED 3.13 INCHES OF RAIN FOR NOVEMBER
WHICH IS 1.45 INCHES BELOW NORMAL. THE GREATEST RAINFALL DURING A
24 HOUR PERIOD WAS 2.04 INCHES ON THE 17TH.

THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRED ONLY ON ONE DAY DURING THE MONTH.

THE AVERAGE WIND SPEED DURING THE MONTH WAS 7.0 MILES AN HOUR. THE
FASTEST GUST WAS 44 MILES AN HOUR ON THE 17TH.

FOG OCCURRED ON 11 DAYS WITH 1 DAY OF DENSE FOG.
