...A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT
AND THURSDAY...

A STRONG COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE
LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY...WITH A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS
DEVELOPING ALONG THE FRONT AND PUSHING ACROSS THE MID STATE.
CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR SOME OF THE STORMS TO BECOME SEVERE
ALONG THIS LINE...WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN BEING THE
MAIN THREAT. BRIEF SPIN UP TORNADOES CANNOT BE RULED OUT GIVEN
THE AMOUNT OF LOW LEVEL WIND SHEAR FORECAST ACROSS THE AREA.

AT THIS TIME IT APPEARS THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT IS GREATEST
EARLY THURSDAY MORNING NEAR THE TENNESSEE RIVER...THURSDAY MORNING TO
MIDDAY ALONG AND NEAR THE I-65 CORRIDOR...AND DURING THURSDAY
AFTERNOON OVER THE PLATEAU.

APRIL IS THE PEAK MONTH FOR SEVERE WEATHER ACROSS MIDDLE
TENNESSEE. PREPARE AHEAD FOR POTENTIAL SEVERE WEATHER BY
MONITORING THE LATEST FORECASTS AND CHECKING BATTERIES IN YOUR
NOAA WEATHER RADIO. STAY TUNED TO LOCAL MEDIA AND WEATHER.GOV FOR
THE LATEST INFORMATION ON THIS POTENTIAL SEVERE WEATHER SITUATION.
