THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 48...50...CONTINUES.

THE THREAT OF DAMAGING WINDS AND A TORNADOES CONTINUES OVER BOTH
TORNADO WATCHES...48 AND 50.

A PRIMARY LINE OF SEVERE STORMS HAS CONSOLIDATED FROM ERN KY ACROSS
MIDDLE TN SWWD INTO NRN LA. THE KY/TN STORMS ARE A BIT AHEAD OF THE
SYNOPTIC COLD FRONT...WHICH IS CURRENTLY DEPICTED BY A WEAKER
SECONDARY LINE OVER CNTRL KY/WRN TN. THE LEAD CONVECTION IS IN A
VERY FAVORABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR WIDESPREAD DAMAGING WINDS...AND
EMBEDDED CIRCULATIONS/BRIEF TORNADOES. WITH TIME...THIS LINE MAY
APPROACH FAR ERN TN...WRN NC AND NRN GA LATER TODAY.

TO THE SW...STORMS OVER ERN TX AND NRN LA WERE CLOSER TO THE ACTUAL
COLD FRONT...BUT FAVORABLY ORIENTED DEEP LAYER SHEAR IS STILL
RESULTING IN A BROKEN LINE. WARMER TEMPERATURES ALOFT WILL TEND TO
HAMPER THESE STORMS...BUT SOME SEVERE WIND AND POSSIBLY HAIL MAY
STILL OCCUR.
