...NASHVILLE'S NOAA WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTER SIGNAL
DEGRADED...LISTENERS SHOULD CONSIDER A BACKUP SOURCE FOR SEVERE
WEATHER ALERTS TODAY...

THE NOAA WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTER THAT BROADCASTS FROM DOWNTOWN
NASHVILLE CONTINUES TO EXPERIENCE A SLIGHTLY DEGRADED
SIGNAL...WHICH MAY CAUSE SIGNAL PROBLEMS IN SOME
LOCATIONS...MAINLY FOR AREAS OUTSIDE OF NASHVILLE.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PLANS TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE AS SOON
AS POSSIBLE. IN THE MEANTIME... LISTENERS WHO HAVE HAD RECENT
PROBLEMS RECEIVING ALERTS...SUCH AS THIS MORNING/S TORNADO
WATCH...ARE URGED TO TUNE TO SURROUNDING TRANSMITTERS FOR THE NOAA
WEATHER RADIO BROADCAST...OR UTILIZE YOUR FAVORITE MEDIA OUTLET
FOR SEVERE WEATHER INFORMATION TODAY.

MANY LOCATIONS ARE SERVICED BY MORE THAN ONE
TRANSMITTER...ALTHOUGH THE SIGNAL FROM ALTERNATE SITES MAY BE
CONSIDERABLY WEAKER. ALTERNATE TRANSMITTER INFORMATION IS
