* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  CUMBERLAND COUNTY IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF CROSSVILLE...

* UNTIL 800 PM CDT

* AT 456 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAINFALL OVER PARTS OF
CUMBERLAND COUNTY. HEAVIEST RAINFALL IS NEAR MAYLAND IN WESTERN
CUMBERLAND AND NEAR OZONE IN EASTERN CUMBERLAND COUNTY. THIS RAIN
WILL AFFECT THE COPELAND CREEK...CANEY FORK CREEK AND LONG BRANCH IN
THE WEST AND MEADOW CREEK IN THE EAST. RADAR INDICATES AT LEAST 2
INCHES OF RASIN HAS FALLEN IN THESE AREAS WITH ANOTHER INCH OF RAIN
POSSIBLE IN THE NEXT 2 HOURS.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY
DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.
