.NOW...
THROUGH 9 AM...WIDESPREAD RAIN SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH
OF THE EASTERN THREE QUARTERS OF THE MID STATE. ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF INCH WILL BE
POSSIBLE. WHERE THE HEAVIER RAINS OCCUR YOU CAN EXPECT PONDING OF
WATER...ESPECIALLY IN URBAN AND LOW LYING AREAS. MOTORISTS SHOULD
EXERCISE APPROPRIATE CAUTION IF TRAVELING THROUGH ANY HEAVIER
RAIN.

ADDITIONALLY...LOOK FOR WIND GUSTS OF UP TO 30 MPH ACROSS MAINLY
THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU AND CENTRAL PORTIONS OF THE MID STATE
THROUGH 9 AM. GIVEN THE SATURATED GROUND CONDITIONS...A FEW
SHALLOW ROOTED TREES COULD BLOW DOWN ACROSS THE PLATEAU AREA WITH
THE HIGHER WIND GUSTS.

DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT MUCH OF THE MID STATE HAS
RECEIVED BETWEEN 2 AND 4 INCHES OF RAINFALL OVER THE LAST SEVERAL
DAYS...WITH SOME SPOTS MAINLY ACROSS WAYNE AND LAWRENCE COUNTIES
RECEIVING BETWEEN 6 AND 8 INCHES OF RAINFALL.
