...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR MACON AND
NORTHWESTERN CLAY COUNTIES UNTIL 600 PM CDT...

AT 544 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF
60 MPH.  THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR RED BOILING SPRINGS...OR 7 MILES
NORTHEAST OF LAFAYETTE...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF MACON AND
NORTHWESTERN CLAY COUNTIES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM...AND MAY LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADWAYS.
