...THE FLOOD ADVISORY CONTINUES FOR THE CUMBERLAND RIVER...

  CUMBERLAND RIVER AT CLARKSVILLE AFFECTING MONTGOMERY COUNTY

. THE CUMBERLAND RIVER AT CLARKSVILLE WILL CONTINUE TO BE ABOVE ACTION
STAGE FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT 48 HOURS. THE EXTENSIVE RAIN FROM LAST WEEK
WILL KEEP THE RIVER ABOVE ACTION STAGE AND CAUSE PERSISTANT ADVISORY LEVEL
STATUS UNTIL THE RIVER CAN RECOVER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

  THE CUMBERLAND RIVER AT CLARKSVILLE
* UNTIL LATE SUNDAY NIGHT.
* AT 01PM SATURDAY THE STAGE WAS 43.0 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 46.0 FEET.
* THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 44.5 FEET BY EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.
* AT 46.0 FEET...THE LEFT BANK OF THE CUMBERLAND RIVER OVERFLOWS AND FLOODING
  BEGINS IN CLARKSVILLE.
* AT 40.0 FEET...WATER LEVELS APPROACH LOW LYING AREAS ALONG THE BANKS.
