...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING ALONG AND
TO THE NORTHWEST OF A SPRINGFIELD TO CENTERVILLE THROUGH LINDEN LINE...

AT 340 PM CDT...RADAR SHOWED A LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS OVER WESTERN TN. THIS ACTIVITY IS MOVING TO THE
EAST AND IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO WESTERN MIDDLE TN BETWEEN 4 PM
AND 5 PM. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL WILL OCCUR ACROSS FAR NORTHWESTERN
PORTIONS OF THE MID STATE. HOURLY RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 1 INCH
AND WIND GUSTS TO 35 MPH WILL WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGEST
THUNDERSTORMS.

ADDITIONALLY...THE HEAVIER RAINFALL COULD CAUSE SOME MINOR
FLOODING OF LOW LAND AND OTHER FLOOD PRONE AREAS THROUGH 530 PM.
MOTORISTS SHOULD DRIVE WITH CAUTION AS THE PONDING OF WATER ON
ROADWAYS WILL BE AN ONGOING POSSIBILITY.
