UNTIL 9 PM CDT...THERE WILL CONTINUE TO BE A LARGE HAIL AND
DAMAGING WIND THREAT...BUT MOSTLY ALONG THE SOUTHERN QUARTER OF
COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TN. THIS IS WHERE THE MOISTURE IS GREATEST AND
THE AIR MASS IS MOST UNSTABLE. ALSO...BRIEF BUT VERY HEAVY
RAINFALL CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THE STRONGER STORMS. AT 748 PM
CDT...MOST OF THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE CONFINED TO A
BAND EXTENDING FROM SOUTH OF WAYNESBORO...EAST THROUGH TULLAHOMA
AND ALTAMONT. ANOTHER AREA OF SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WAS ALONG
THE KY BORDER NORTH AND NORTHEAST OF NASHVILLE. MOVEMENT WAS EAST
AT 35 MPH.
