INTO THE MIDSTATE AT 25 MPH. THIS ACTIVITY IS GENERATING AS MUCH
AS 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL OVER A 3 HOUR PERIOD. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL
IS IN THE SOUTHWESTERN COUNTIES...ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE
40. THIS RAINFALL MAY CAUSE AREA CREEKS AND STREAMS TO RISE
QUICKLY...STANDING WATER IN LOW AREAS AND HYDROPLANING ON AREA
ROADWAYS. ACTIVITY WILL LIKELY DIMINISH SLOWLY WITH TIME. MORE
THUNDERSTORMS WILL REFORM THIS AFTERNOON...SOME OF THOSE STORMS
MAY BE SEVERE WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL.
