THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 31 CONTINUES.

THE SEVERE THREAT CONTINUES ACROSS THE WATCH WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND
TORNADOES POSSIBLE.

SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWS A COLD FRONT NOW ENTERING WRN TN...EXTENDING
SWWD ACROSS NERN MS. MEANWHILE...AN E-W ORIENTED
BOUNDARY...REINFORCED BY CONVECTION...EXTENDED EWD FROM THE SURFACE
LOW ACROSS MIDDLE AND ERN TN WHERE CONVECTION WAS ONGOING.

AREAS OF HEATING UPSTREAM OVER MS/AL/GA AND STRONG SWLY LOW LEVEL
FLOW WILL MAINTAIN A FLUX OF WARM AND UNSTABLE AIR NWD AHEAD OF THE
COLD FRONT.  STRONG STORMS NOW ENTERING NWRN AL AND SRN MIDDLE TN
ARE LIKELY TO REMAIN STRONG OR SEVERE AS THEY CONTINUE TO TREK E IN
A STRONGLY SHEARED ENVIRONMENT AND WITH STRONG CONVERGENCE.

TO THE S...MUCH OF THE WARM SECTOR REMAINS CAPPED. HOWEVER...RECENT
SOUNDINGS AND OBJECTIVE ANALYSIS INDICATE THAT SOME COOLING ALOFT OF
THE WARM NOSE IS OCCURRING...AND BY LATER THIS AFTERNOON...STORMS
MAY REDEVELOP SWD INTO NRN AL AND NWRN GA WITH A DEEPENING MOIST
BOUNDARY LAYER. THUS...ANOTHER TORNADO WATCH MAY BE REQUIRED LATER
