AREAS AFFECTED...MS...NW AL...MIDDLE TN

CONCERNING...TORNADO WATCH 14...

VALID 250211Z - 250315Z

THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 14 CONTINUES.

THE SEVERE THREAT WITH A SQUALL-LINE CURRENTLY ACROSS WRN TN...NW MS
AND NE LA WILL MOVE TO THE EAST OF WW 14 WHERE A NEW WATCH WILL BE
NEEDED SHORTLY. THE SQUALL-LINE WILL BE MAINTAINED BECAUSE OF VERY
STRONG LARGE-SCALE ASCENT ASSOCIATED WITH AN APPROACHING UPPER-LEVEL
TROUGH TO THE WEST. ALTHOUGH INSTABILITY IS WEAK EAST OF THE
LINE...VERY STRONG WIND FIELDS EXIST WHICH ALONG WITH A FORWARD
SPEED OF THE LINE AROUND 40 KT WILL CONTINUE A THREAT FOR WIDESPREAD
WIND DAMAGE. IN ADDITION TO WIND DAMAGE...A FEW OF THE MORE INTENSE
ROTATING CELLS EMBEDDED IN THE LINE COULD HAVE AN ISOLATED TORNADO
THREAT.
