.A STORM SYSTEM WILL APPROACH FROM THE SOUTHWEST TODAY WITH SNOW
BEGINNING THIS EVENING...AND CONTINUING OVERNIGHT IN MIDDLE
TENNESSEE. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED IN
THE NORTHWEST...WITH GENERALLY LESS THAN AN INCH SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 40...AND ONLY A DUSTING IN FAR SOUTHERN AREAS NEAR THE
ALABAMA BORDER.

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS
EVENING TO 6 AM CST SATURDAY.

* GEOGRAPHIC AREA: NORTHWEST MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

* TIMING: LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN THIS EVENING AND
  CONTINUE THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT.

* ACCUMULATIONS: A GENERAL 1 TO 2 INCH SWATH OF SNOWFALL CAN BE
  EXPECTED BY SATURDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS: FALLING SNOW...WILL IMPACT TRAVEL FRIDAY EVENING AND
  OVERNIGHT MAKING IT DIFFICULT FOR MOTORISTS. ROADWAYS WILL
  BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS. WATCH FOR BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES TO
  BECOME HAZARDOUS FIRST.
