THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 231 CONTINUES.

LATEST VIS SATELLITE IMAGERY SHOWS CLEARING SKIES ACROSS SERN TN AND
FAR WRN NC...WHICH HAS ALLOWED SURFACE TEMPERATURES TO CLIMB INTO
THE UPPER 70S OVER SRN PORTIONS OF WW 231. THE WARMING/DESTABILIZING
BOUNDARY LAYER IS FAVORING INCREASING INSTABILITY/MLCAPE VALUES PER
LATEST SFCOA GUIDANCE...WHICH WILL AID IN ONGOING THUNDERSTORM/MCS
MAINTENANCE. THESE STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO POSE A THREAT FOR
TORNADOES/DAMAGING WINDS GIVEN VERY FAVORABLE VWP AND RUC FORECAST
WIND PROFILES. AN ADDITIONAL WW MAY BE ISSUED W OF WW 231 /REF
UPCOMING ADDITIONAL MCD ADDRESSING THE UPSTREAM SVR WEATHER
