TENNESSEE ON FRIDAY...

A STRONG COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE WEST TO EAST ACROSS
MIDDLE TENNESSEE DURING THE EVENING HOURS ON FRIDAY. ALONG
AND AHEAD OF THIS COLD FRONT...STRONG SOUTHERLY LOW LEVEL
WINDS WILL DEVELOP AND ATMOSPHERIC INSTABILITY AND MOISTURE
POTENTIAL WILL INCREASE.

WITH AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND 70...AND ALSO STRONG
MID LEVELS WINDS ALOFT...THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR DAMAGING
WINDS...ALONG WITH ISOLATED TORNADOES...AND LARGE HAIL...FROM
FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS.

HEAVY RAINFALL IS ALSO EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM SYSTEM...WITH
TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS POSSIBLY RANGING FROM ONE INCH...TO AS
MUCH AS THREE INCHES...NEAR THE TENNESSEE/ALABAMA BORDER...
FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.

THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY CONCERNING EXACT TIMING AND
STRENGTH OF THIS STORM SYSTEM. HOWEVER...RESIDENTS ACROSS MIDDLE
TENNESSEE AND THOSE WHO WILL BE TRAVELING IN AND OUT OF MIDDLE
TENNESSEE ON FRIDAY SHOULD KEEP AWARE OF THIS POTENTIAL SEVERE
