VALID 092021Z - 092145Z

THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 113 CONTINUES.

THREAT FOR ISOLATED TORNADOES...LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND WILL
PERSIST NEXT FEW HOURS MAINLY FROM SRN WV...WRN VA...ERN TN AND WRN
NC. ADDITIONAL STORMS MAY INTENSIFY OVER SERN KY. STORMS ARE
APPROACHING ERN EDGE OF THE WW ACROSS WRN VA AND WRN NC. SOME THREAT
FOR LARGE HAIL MAY EXIST A SHORT DISTANCE EAST OF WW 113...BUT

ITS ATTENDANT MESOSCALE ZONES OF ASCENT. SOME OF THE STORMS ARE
SHIFTING EAST OF WW 113...BUT WEDGE FRONT HAS STABILIZED THE

ELEVATED AND BEGIN TO WEAKEN AS THEY MOVE INTO THIS MORE STABLE
REGIME.

FARTHER WEST...LINE OF STORMS INCLUDING EMBEDDED SUPERCELLS PERSIST
FROM SRN WV THROUGH EXTREME WRN VA. THIS ACTIVITY HAS HAD A TENDENCY
TO BUILD SLOWLY SWWD...AND A FEW DISCRETE CELLS ARE ALSO BEGINNING
TO DEVELOP OVER NERN TN WHERE STRONGER CAP HAS PREVIOUSLY LIMITED
DEVELOPMENT. LOW-MID LEVEL JETS ACCOMPANYING THE MCV WILL CONTINUE
TO PROMOTE SUPERCELLS AND BOWING SEGMENTS AS ACTIVITY DEVELOPS EWD
AND SWD THROUGH REMAINING WARM SECTOR.
