THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 723 CONTINUES.

IT APPEARS THAT STORMS WILL PERSIST ACROSS NRN AL INTO A SMALL PART
OF SRN MIDDLE TN BEYOND WW 723 EXPIRATION TIME OF 22Z. WW 723 MAY
NEED TO BE REPLACED BY A SMALL TORNADO WATCH THAT WILL CONTINUE INTO
THE EARLY EVENING.

THIS AFTERNOON A COLD FRONT EXTENDS FROM ERN KY SWWD THROUGH MIDDLE
TN INTO NWRN AL AND N CNTRL MS. NUMEROUS DISCRETE SUPERCELLS
CONTINUE WITHIN THE MOIST WARM SECTOR WHERE MLCAPE RANGES FROM
500-1000 J/KG MLCAPE ALONG WITH 50+ KT EFFECTIVE SHEAR...AND 0-1 KM
STORM RELATIVE HELICITY FROM 100-200 M2/S2 BASED ON OBSERVED STORM
MOTION. THIS PARAMETER SPACE WILL SUPPORT A THREAT FOR TORNADOES...A
COUPLE OF WHICH COULD BE STRONG. THE SRN END OF THE FRONT HAS SLOWED
ITS EWD PROGRESS...SUGGESTING STORMS IN WARM SECTOR WILL CONTINUE
TRAINING THROUGH THIS CORRIDOR BEYOND 22Z.
