SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MIDDLE TN
THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HOURS. THE STRONGEST
OF THE STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING GENERALLY SMALL
HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND HOURLY RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 2
INCHES. MOVEMENT OF THE PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE TO BE TOWARD THE
NORTHEAST AT AROUND 20 MPH. AN OVERALL SLIGHT DECREASE IN COVERAGE
AND INTENSITY IS EXPECTED AFTER NIGHTFALL. MOTORISTS...IF
ENCOUNTERING ANY OF THE STRONGER STORMS...SHOULD SLOW DOWN AS THE
PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS CAN BE EXPECTED.
