AREAS AFFECTED...WRN TN...PARTS OF ERN AR...PARTS OF NRN MS...

CONCERNING...SEVERE POTENTIAL...WATCH UNLIKELY

VALID 172205Z - 172330Z

ISOLATED SEVERE POTENTIAL MAY CONTINUE FOR A COUPLE MORE HOURS
BEFORE DIMINISHING. WW WILL LIKELY NOT BE NEEDED.

LATEST OBJECTIVE ANALYSIS REVEALS MODEST /AOB 1000 J/KG/ MIXED-LAYER
CAPE ACROSS THE MID MS VALLEY REGION...WHERE ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS
CONTINUE. ONE STRONGER CELL -- NOW MOVING ACROSS NWRN TN -- IS
OCCURRING JUST SOUTHEAST OF A SMALL MID-LEVEL VORT MAX NOW CROSSING
INTO FAR WRN KY...ROTATING AROUND THE LARGER LOW PER LATEST WV
IMAGERY. THIS STORM APPEARS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS
AND/OR HAIL...AND A FEW OTHER CELLS OVER ERN AR MAY ALSO PRODUCE
MARGINAL SEVERE WEATHER IN THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO.

OVERALL HOWEVER...EXPECT SEVERE POTENTIAL TO BEGIN TO DIMINISH THIS
EVENING...AS BOUNDARY-LAYER COOLING YIELDS AND OVERALL DECREASE IN
AVAILABLE INSTABILITY -- AND THUS SEVERE POTENTIAL.
