FOR LOCATIONS EAST OF A SHELBYVILLE...TO WATERTOWN...TO RED
BOILING SPRINGS LINE...THERE WILL BE THE CHANCE OF SOME STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS. STRONG WINDS ARE THE MAIN CONCERN.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE EAST OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE TODAY...AS
A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES FROM THE MID MISSISSIPPI VALLEY
TOWARD THE GREAT LAKES. THIS WILL RESULT IN GUSTY SOUTH TO
SOUTHWEST WINDS DEVELOPING ACROSS THE AREA...WITH SOME GUST
TO AROUND 35 MPH OR SLIGHTLY HIGHER. THUS...A WIND ADVISORY
HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR LOCATIONS GENERALLY ALONG AND WEST OF A
SHELBYVILLE...TO WATERTOWN...TO RED BOILING SPRINGS LINE...
FOR THIS AFTERNOON.

ACROSS THESE SAME LOCATIONS...A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS
MIDDLE TENNESSEE TONIGHT...BRINGING WITH IT A CHANCE OF STRONG
TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS ARE THE
MAIN CONCERN.

A FLOOD WARNING WILL CONTINUE FOR THE TENNESSEE RIVER AT CLIFTON
THROUGH NOON TODAY.

A FLOOD WARNING WILL CONTINUE FOR THE CUMBERLAND RIVER AT CLARKSVILLE
THROUGH TONIGHT.
