ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE DEVELOPING
ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS AFTERNOON. THROUGH 430 PM, THE
STRONGEST AND MOST WIDESPREAD ACTIVITY WILL OCCUR NORTH OF
INTERSTATE 40. A WEAK SURFACE BOUNDARY CONTINUES TO DROP SOUTHWARD
OUT OF KENTUCKY, PRODUCING STORMS ACROSS EXTREME NORTHERN MIDDLE
TENNESSEE. THE PRIMARY THREAT FROM THESE STORMS IS EXCESSIVE HEAVY
RAINFALL, AS THE STRONGEST CELLS ARE PRODUCING 1 TO 2 INCHES OF
RAIN PER HOUR. CELL MOVEMENT IS TOWARD THE EAST-SOUTHEAST AROUND
15 MILES AN HOUR.
