THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL STRENGTHEN TODAY...AS IT APPROACHES
MIDDLE TENNESSEE...AND PRODUCE STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS ACROSS OUR
AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. SUSTAINED WINDS ARE FORECAST TO
REACH 25 MPH TO 35 MPH...WITH GUST UP TO 45 MPH...ACROSS THE
WESTERN TWO THIRDS OF THE MID STATE. MEANWHILE...ACROSS THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU...SUSTAINED WINDS ARE FORECAST TO BE 20 TO 30
MPH...WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 40 MPH POSSIBLE. THESE CONDITIONS WILL
CONTINUE INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS ON SUNDAY. EXERCISE CAUTION
WHILE DRIVING ON AREA ROADWAYS. ANYONE TRAVELING IN AN EASTERLY OR
WESTERLY DIRECTION...SUCH AS ALONG INTERSTATE 40 OR INTERSTATE
24...WILL EXPERIENCE STRONG CROSS WINDS OUT OF THE SOUTH.
