POSSIBLE OVER THE REMAINDER OF THE MID STATE AS WELL.

.A WINTER STORM SYSTEM...APPROACHING FROM THE SOUTHWEST...WILL
DELIVER ANOTHER SHOT OF FROZEN AND FREEZING PRECIPITATION TO THE
MID STATE TODAY AND TONIGHT. PRECIPITATION MAY BEGIN AS A BRIEF
PERIOD OF SNOW AND SLEET...BUT WILL BE FOLLOWED BY A LONGER PERIOD
OF FREEZING RAIN...WHICH IS FORECAST TO PRODUCE DANGEROUS ICE
ACCUMULATIONS... ESPECIALLY IN THE EXTREME NORTHEAST.

SOUTHERN AREAS WILL LIKELY SEE THE WINTRY WEATHER MOVE IN FIRST...PROBABLY
LATE THIS MORNING OR EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. THE PRECIPITATION IS THEN
EXPECTED TO SPREAD RAPIDLY NORTHWARD...LIKELY COVERING ALL AREAS
