...TREACHEROUS ROAD CONDITIONS ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE...
...TENNESSEE HIGHWAY PATROL'S ADVICE TO MOTORISTS IS STAY OFF THE
ROAD...

NUMEROUS REPORTS OF BLACK ICE CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED FROM
ALL AREAS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS EVENING. ROAD CONDITIONS ARE SO
TREACHEROUS THAT THE TENNESSEE HIGHWAY PATROL IS ASKING MOTORISTS
TO STAY OFF THE ROADWAYS. WITH TEMPERATURES ALREADY IN THE UPPER
TEENS IN MANY AREAS AND ARE FORECAST TO FALL EVEN FURTHER BY
DAYBREAK...TREACHEROUS CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL THROUGH THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS AND WELL INTO MONDAY MORNING. IN ADDITION...WIND
CHILLS OR THE FEEL LIKE TEMPERATURE WILL DROP BELOW ZERO
OVERNIGHT...AS WINDS GUSTS AS HIGH AS 35 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED.
THIS WILL CAUSE THE POWDERY SNOW TO BLOW AND DRIFT...REDUCING
VISIBILITIES AT TIMES TO LESS THAN 1/2 MILE. ALSO...THE SNOWFALL
IS NOT FINISHED BY ANY MEANS...WITH MORE SNOW YET TO MOVE DOWN
FROM THE NORTH AND THROUGH MIDDLE TENNESSEE IN THE OVERNIGHT
HOURS. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS ARE LIKELY.
