AT MIDNIGHT...A STRONG COLD FRONT WAS LOCATED ALONG THE
INTERSTATE 65 CORRIDOR...WITH MUCH COLDER AIR SURGING IN BEHIND
IT. TEMPERATURES WERE ALREADY IN THE UPPER 30S OVER WESTERN
MIDDLE TENNESSEE...AND IN THE LOWER 30S BACK OVER NORTHWESTERN
TENNESSEE AND SOUTHWESTERN KENTUCKY. YOU CAN EXPECT THE RAIN TO
END SHORTLY AFTER THE FRONT PASSES...WITH A TEMPORARY LULL IN THE
PRECIPITATION...BEFORE SNOW SHOWERS DEVELOP LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY
SUNDAY MORNING. WEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 20 MPH AS THE
NIGHT ROLLS ON...MAKING IT FEEL EVEN COLDER. ONLY LIGHT SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT. HOWEVER...ACCUMULATIONS
OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT.

BY RAPIDLY FALLING TEMPERATURES. PRECIPITATION MAY CHANGE TO ALL
SNOW...AND SOME ROADS MAY BECOME SLIPPERY. THE SNOW MAY BRIEFLY
TAPER OFF EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. HOWEVER...ANY LULL IN THE SNOW
WILL BE TEMPORARY...WITH SNOW EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AGAIN DURING
THE DAY ON SUNDAY AND CONTINUE INTO SUNDAY NIGHT...PROVIDING SNOW
TOTALS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES BY MONDAY MORNING. EXPECT BRUTALLY COLD
CONDITIONS ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY WITH HIGHS IN THE 20S AND WINDS
OUT OF THE WEST AND NORTHWEST UP TO 25 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.
