WIDESPREAD STRONG AND SCATTERED SEVERE STORMS WITH HIGH WINDS AND
HAIL CONTINUE ACROSS WATCHES 575 AND 577 THIS EVENING. THIS ACTIVITY
WAS BEING SUPPORTED BY LARGE SCALE HEIGHT FALLS ACROSS THE ERN U.S.
AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT MOVING EAST INTO HOT...VERY MOIST...AND
MODERATELY UNSTABLE AIR MASS.

A MASS OF STORMS NOW CONGEALING ALONG COLD POOL/COMPOSITE OUTFLOW
AHEAD OF SYNOPTIC FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST EMBEDDED WITHIN
25-35KT OF KT OF CLOUD-BEARING FLOW FROM NRN VA/MD AREA SWWD ACROSS
THE PIEDMONT OF THE CAROLINAS. AIRMASS ALONG THE IMMEDIATE ERN
SEABOARD WAS CHARACTERIZED BY DCAPE VALUES OF 700-1100 J PER KG WITH
