CONCERNING...SEVERE POTENTIAL...WATCH POSSIBLE

SEVERE THREAT WILL PROBABLY INCREASE THIS AFTERNOON OVER PARTS OF
KENTUCKIANA AND PERHAPS AS FAR S AS N MIDDLE TN WITH THE STRONGER
STORMS POTENTIALLY BEING CAPABLE OF LARGE HAIL AND ISOLD DMGG WINDS.
 A WW MAY BE NEEDED SOON.

LATEST RADAR MOSAIC SHOWS INTENSIFYING STORMS STRADDLING THE OHIO
RIVER FROM DAVIDSON COUNTY KY NEWD TO PERRY COUNTY IND.  THESE
STORMS HAVE DEVELOPED S OF SLOWLY SWD SAGGING FRONTAL BOUNDARY IN
THE WARM MOIST SECTOR ON SRN FRINGE OF STRONG WLYS.  EXPECTING STORM
ORGANIZATION TO CONTINUE WITH TIME THE NEXT FEW HOURS.  THERE IS
UNCERTAINTY ON WHETHER STORMS WILL MAINTAIN A SEVERE THREAT AS THEY
ENCOUNTER MORE STABLE AIRMASS TO THE E NEAR THE I-75 CORRIDOR
RESULTANT FROM THIS MORNING/S MCS.  ADEQUATE DEEP LAYER SHEAR
ACCORDING TO OBJECTIVE ANALYSIS /UP TO 35 KTS 0-6 KM SHEAR/ COUPLED
WITH A MODERATELY UNSTABLE AIRMASS /2000 J/KG SBCAPE/ WILL LIKELY
SUPPORT ORGANIZED STORMS IN THE FORM OF CLUSTERS WITH SUPERCELL
STRUCTURE AT TIMES...WITH LARGE HAIL AND DMGG WINDS POSSIBLE.
