...UNSEASONABLY COOL WEATHER IN STORE FOR THE MID STATE TONIGHT
AND SUNDAY...

A COOL...CANADIAN...AIR MASS HAS DROPPED SOUTHWARD ACROSS THE MID
STATE THIS WEEKEND...BRINGING WITH IT THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME
RECORD BREAKING TEMPERATURES. NEAR RECORD LOW TEMPERATURES ARE
EXPECTED TONIGHT AS THE MERCURY DROPS DOWN INTO THE MID 50S.
RECORD LOW MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES...IN THE MID AND UPPER 70S...ARE
ALSO IN JEOPARDY OF BEING EQUALED OR EXCEEDED. ON SATURDAY...THE
RECORD DAILY LOW MAXIMUM HIGH TEMPERATURE AT THE NASHVILLE
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WAS 76 DEGREES. THIS TIED THE PREVIOUS
RECORD OF 76 DEGREES SET IN 1918. DAYTIME HUMIDITIES WILL BE QUITE
LOW ON SUNDAY...MAKING IT FEEL MORE LIKE LATE SEPTEMBER AS OPPOSED
TO MID JULY.

RECORD DAILY LOW FOR TONIGHT IS 57 DEGREES FOR NASHVILLE. WITH
LOWS EXPECTED TO DROP INTO THE MID 50S...THIS RECORD COULD BE
TIED OR BROKEN. THIS RECORD LOW OF 57 DEGREES WAS SET BACK IN
1976.

THE RECORD DAILY LOW MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE FOR NASHVILLE FOR
SUNDAY IS 79 DEGREES. HIS TEMPERATURE WAS RECORDED MORE THAN A
HUNDRED YEARS AGO...IN 1897. THIS RECORD WILL ALSO BE IN DANGER OF
BEING TIED OR BROKEN.
