...LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PASS THROUGH MIDDLE TENNESSEE THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. WIDESPREAD RAIN WILL ACCOMPANY THE FRONT,
BUT TEMPERATURES WILL QUICKLY DROP BEHIND THE FRONT AS A RESULT OF
A STRONG NORTHWEST WIND.

THE PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO SWITCH OVER TO SNOW BEFORE
ENDING. EVEN THOUGH MOST OF THE ATMOSPHERIC MOISTURE WILL HAVE
MOVED EASTWARD BY THE TIME TEMPERATURES BECOME COLD ENOUGH FOR
SNOW, MANY PLACES WILL SEE SOME ACCUMULATION BEFORE THE SNOW
COMPLETELY ENDS. ACCUMULATIONS WILL GENERALLY BE LESS THAN ONE
HALF INCH.

SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE MAINLY ON GRASSY SURFACES, ALTHOUGH MINOR
DRIVING HAZARDS MAY OCCUR IN A FEW PLACES. THUS, MOTORISTS ARE
URGED TO EXERCISE CAUTION, ESPECIALLY ACROSS BRIDGES AND
OVERPASSES.
