...SNOWFALL TOTALS AS OF 1000 AM...

SNOW THAT FELL OVERNIGHT OCCURRED IN BANDS CAUSING SNOWFALL TOTALS
TO VARY WIDELY ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE. SOME OF THE SNOW BANDS
CONTAINED THUNDER WITH BRIEF BURSTS OF HEAVY SNOWFALL.
GENERALLY...THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WAS IN THE NORTHWEST...WITH THE
LIGHTEST ACCUMULATIONS IN THE SOUTHEAST. MANY ROADS REMAINED SNOW
COVERED AND VERY SLICK THIS MORNING...ESPECIALLY BACK ROADS AND
BRIDGES. SOME ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE THROUGH THE REST
OF THE MORNING EAST OF INTERSTATE 65.

THE FOLLOWING REPORTS WERE RECEIVED FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT...COCORAHS
OBSERVERS...WEATHER SPOTTERS AND OTHER PUBIC REPORTS.
