RUMBLING OVER PARTS OF EASTERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...MAINLY BETWEEN
ALTAMONT...CROSSVILLE...AND SHELBYVILLE. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL
OCCUR WITH THESE STORMS...AND WILL PRODUCE PONDING OF WATER ON AREA
ROADWAYS. DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES THAT SOME PARTS OF THIS AREA
HAVE RECEIVED MORE THAN 2 INCHES OF RAIN SO FAR THIS MORNING...AND
ANY ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN WILL LEAD TO RAPID RUNOFF...AND PONDING.
SOME OF THE HEAVIEST RAINS HAVE BEEN ESTIMATED OVER EXTREME SOUTHERN
CUMBERLAND COUNTY...AS WELL AS SOUTHERN GRUNDY COUNTY.
