THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING OF POOR DRAINAGE AREAS IN...
  CLAY COUNTY IN TENNESSEE...
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF CELINA...

* UNTIL 500 PM CDT

* AT 153 PM CDT...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...WITH TORRENTIAL RAINFALL...WERE
SPREADING SLOWLY EASTWARD ACROSS CLAY COUNTY. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES
INDICATE THAT PARTS OF CLAY COUNTRY RECEIVED AROUND ONE AND HALF INCHES
OF RAIN...FROM THUNDERSTORMS EARLIER TODAY. ANY ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL PRODUCE RAPID RUN OFF...AND THE POSSIBILITY FOR MINOR FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

A FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS RIVER OR STREAM FLOWS ARE ELEVATED...OR PONDING
OF WATER IN URBAN...OR OTHER...AREAS IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.
