...1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW EXPECTED ON THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU...

.COLD AIR WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION TODAY AND TONIGHT AFTER THE
PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT. UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES WILL PRODUCE RAIN
SHOWERS...WHICH WILL CHANGE OVER TO SNOW SHOWERS THIS EVENING. THE
BULK OF THE ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED THIS EVENING BETWEEN 8
PM AND MIDNIGHT...BUT SNOW SHOWERS MAY LINGER INTO THE DAYLIGHT
HOURS OF WEDNESDAY. ALONG WITH THE SNOW...BRISK WINDS AND COLD
TEMPERATURES WILL DROP WIND CHILLS INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS AT TIMES
TONIGHT.

ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 12 PM CST
WEDNESDAY.

A COLD FRONT WILL BRING MUCH COLDER AIR TODAY AND TONIGHT. AN
UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL PRODUCE SNOW SHOWERS...MAINLY THIS
EVENING. ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU. VERY COLD TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL RESULT IN
SOME SNOWY AND ICY ROAD CONDITIONS ACROSS THE AREA.

A SNOW ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY
TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND
LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
