...SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK POSSIBLE ACROSS THE REGION TUESDAY...

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BEGIN TO MOVE FROM THE
SOUTHWEST STATES INTO THE PLAINS ON MONDAY...AND THEN TOWARD THE OHIO
AND TENNESSEE VALLEYS ON TUESDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE
THUNDERSTORMS WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER.

IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE...THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOST LIKELY TUESDAY
INTO TUESDAY EVENING. UNSEASONABLY WARM AND MOIST AIR WILL BE OVER
MID TENNESSEE BY TUESDAY. THE APPROACHING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM AND
COLD FRONT WILL BRING INCREASING CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WITH
GUSTY WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL. THE GREATEST POTENTIAL
FOR SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE TUESDAY EVENING. A LINE OF STRONG TO
SEVERE STORMS IS EXPECTED TO SWEEP ACROSS THE MID STATE BETWEEN 6
PM AND MIDNIGHT...POSSIBLY PRODUCING WIDESPREAD WIND DAMAGE. IN
ADDITION TO STRAIGHT LINE WINDS...CONDITIONS WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR
LARGE HAIL AND ISOLATED TORNADOES TUESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.

PLEASE MONITOR UPDATED FORECASTS AND STATEMENTS FOR THE LATEST ON
THIS POTENTIAL SEVERE WEATHER. NOW IS A GOOD TIME TO REVIEW YOUR
SAFETY PLANS SO YOU WILL KNOW WHAT TO DO IF SEVERE WEATHER
DEVELOPS.
