THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HIGH WATER LEVELS AND MINOR FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ALONG PARTS OF
THE TENNESSEE RIVER.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP TODAY AHEAD OF A STRONG COLD
FRONT TO OUR WEST. STORMS WILL BE MOST NUMEROUS IN AREAS NEAR THE
TENNESSEE RIVER, WITH ONLY SCATTERED ACTIVITY IN AREAS EAST OF
NASHVILLE. THE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BE NON-SEVERE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

WATER LEVELS WILL REMAIN HIGH ALONG PARTS OF THE TENNESSEE RIVER
OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.

THE COLD FRONT WILL PASS THROUGH MIDDLE TENNESSEE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO
FRIDAY MORNING...BRINGING WIDESPREAD ACTIVITY TO THE MID STATE. SOME OF
THE STORMS THAT DO FORM AHEAD OF AND ALONG THE FRONT MAY REACH SEVERE
LIMITS...PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND POSSIBLY EVEN
ISOLATED TORNADOES. AT THIS TIME...THE BIGGEST RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER
WILL BE AROUND THE NASHVILLE METRO AREA AND TO THE SOUTH AND WEST.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED THURSDAY
AND FRIDAY.
