...THE HEAVIER RAINS EARLIER THIS MORNING HAVE LESSENED BY QUITE A BIT...

THE RAIN HAS CONTINUED THROUGHOUT THE MORNING AND INTO THE AFTERNOON
ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE. RAINFALL AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN THE HEAVIEST
IN WESTERN AREAS OF THE MID STATE...WITH CUMBERLAND CITY IN STEWART
COUINTY TOTALING 6.72 INCHES THROUGH 7 AM. BIRDSONG LANDING IN
BENTON COUNTY HAD 6.20...FORT CAMPBELL 4.90...TENNESSEE RIDGE IN
HOUSTON COUNTY 4.64...LOBELVILLE IN PERRY COUNTY 4.76...SPRINGFIELD
IN ROBERTSON COUNTY 2.93...COLUMBIA 3.50... MURFREESBORO 2.25...LEBANON
2.52...LEWISBURG 1.80...SHELBYVILLE 1.50...CROSSVILLE 1.60...MANCHESTER
0.66...AND MCMINNVILLE 0.26.

RAIN IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH THE REMAINDER
OF THE AFTERNOON AND OVERNIGHT. ANOTHER ONE HALF TO THREE QUARTERS
OF AN INCH CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH DAYBREAK WEDNESDAY.
