SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS PORTIONS OF MIDDLE
TENNESSEE THIS AFTERNOON. THROUGH 530 PM, THE STRONGEST CELLS
WILL OCCUR ALONG AND EAST OF A LINE EXTENDING FROM BYRDSTOWN, TO
COOKEVILLE, TO CENTER HILL LAKE, TO MURFREESBORO, TO THOMPSON
STATION. CELL MOVEMENT WAS TOWARD THE EAST NORTHEAST AROUND 35
MILES AN HOUR. YOU CAN EXPECT VERY HEAVY RAINFALL, GUSTY WINDS,
AND SMALL HAIL WITH THESE STORMS. THIS LINE OF ACTIVITY WAS
OCCURRING JUST AHEAD OF A STRONG COLD FRONT THAT IS MOVING THROUGH
MIDDLE TENNESSEE. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE MID STATE, THE ACTIVITY
WILL BE CONSIDERABLY WEAKER AND MORE SCATTERED.
