...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF MIDDLE TN UNTIL 6PM CST...

AT 3 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LARGE
AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE MOVING
NORTHEAST AROUND 50 MPH. THE STRONGEST STORMS ARE OVER NORTHERN
MIDDLE TENNESSEE AND WILL IMPACT INTERSTATE 65 AND INTERSTATE 24
NORTH OF NASHVILLE...INCLUDING THE NASHVILLE METRO AREA FOR THE NEXT
HOUR. ADDITIONAL STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT INTERSTATE 24
SOUTHEAST OF NASHVILLE. IN THE STRONGER STORMS...HEAVY RAINFALL WITH
RATES UP TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR MAY REDUCE VISIBILITIES QUICKLY TO NEAR
ZERO AND PRODUCE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS.

IF YOU ARE THE PATH OF AN APPROACHING STORM...MOVE TO A SAFE SHELTER
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING AND AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
